Q-What are we supposed to provide in stakeholder consultation?
Ans- This is not only a policy proposal, we want to establish pragmatic solutions. And to that effect, we plan to coordinate stakeholders (that may be government, academia, scientists, lawyers, policy experts, communities, etc) to the relevant policies.
The component on stakeholder consultation should include your brief on how you intend to undertake your proposed policies in coordination the relevant stakeholders. This can also include your engagement strategies (with the stakeholders), stakeholder mapping, feedback mechanisms, sustainability, etc.
Q- What do 'ethical considerations' mean as a requirement for the policy proposal?
Ans- The proposed solution may include dealing with sensitive data (privacy-related issues), tech bias, perpetuating stereotypes on at-risk communities, etc
We need your assurance that these proposed solutions will consider these aspects. For instance if it involves collecting data, you can put up a defense that it will comply with GDPR.
