General Guidelines
All participating delegates of the 21st IUCN AEL Colloquium, 2024 are required to obtain a visa prior to their arrival in India.

In order to obtain an Indian visa, participants may be required to show an invitation from the organisers of the event. We will be issuing Invitation Letters and other necessary documents (if required) to facilitate the issuance of visa for registered participants.
For Issuance of E-Visa
The Government of India issues multiple categories of electronic visa to nationals from 120+ nations. For more information or in order to apply for the same, kindly visit https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/.

Further, while booking your tickets to India, please keep in mind that e-Visa facilities are only available at selected airports and seaports. The list of authorized entry and exit points is available under the “Authorized Entry/Exit points at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/index.html.
For Nationals of Japan, South Korea and United Arab Emirates
Indian Govt provides a Visa-on-arrival facility for the Japanese, South Korean and Emirati (UAE) nationals who are visiting India for a period not exceeding 60 days for purpose of business, tourism or conference. This facility can be accessed only at six airports across the country - Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.

Please note: Nationals of UAE, arriving in India for the first time, will not be able to avail this facility.

If you are a participant from Afghanistan, China, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Sudan or an individual of Pakistani origin or are stateless, you are required to provide us certain additional details, post your registration in order for us to obtain the required clearance from the concerned Indian authorities. The additional details are to be filled in the form through the below mentioned link before 10th May (11:59 PM) IST.
